 I would not like to be caught in that... Great pic!
 -- Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew... I feel better now.  It was really cool that they were splitting apart to go around our van--- but yeah, that moment of panic was there. "AHHHH!!! They're gonna hit!!!" -- .[-___-]. o-[ . ]-o ...[] []... Sounds very cool, now if only deer were common enough that they could at least do something similar to that... And if only they weren't so shy...
Oh well! Being only five feet from a five pointer is cool enough! But not quite the same as being in a stampede I'd imagine...  -- Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew... I feel better now. Deer do tend to be pretty shy--- I know I tried to shoot some deer once in KeyWest, and... It didn't go so well.
 What's a five pointer? The stampede was intense. We were a little worried they might not part and would hit the van--- but lucky for us (and them !) they did. -- .[-___-]. o-[ . ]-o ...[] []... Well, a five pointer is a stag with five points on his antlers. Essentially, a stag who could cause a lot of damage if bugged too much. Lucky the one I saw decided I was no threat, I was at the top of a pretty steep slope... with a rapid creek below... and many sharp rocks and bushes...
Anyhow, really good thing those zebra parted! I doubt it would make for a good pic, being trampled. -- Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew... I feel better now.  Great capture. That must've been pretty spectacular to witness!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
